Update Coming for Webmail Users
TrioTel is upgrading your Webmail! Starting October 14th, users will notice some new features and a slightly different layout, but everything you usually do in Webmail will still work as before. Because this is an official change from TrioTel, you do not need to click anything or take any special steps to get this upgrade. Your login will work the same as always, and your messages are safe and sound.
Key Dates:
October 14, 2025 – Customers will be able to log in to either the current webmail or the new version.
December 1, 2025 – The current webmail will be retired, and only the new version will be available.
New Features to Include:
Out of Office
Headed out of town? Going on Vacation? Or maybe you just need a weekend to unplug. You will be able to set up an automated response so people know you’re away.
Security
The new Webmail will show you your ‘last login info’, including the IP address of your most recent sign-in. If someone logs into your account from a strange location, you will know immediately.
Fun Upgrades
From being greeted with daily quotes to viewing your built-in weather updates, there’s a little fun sprinkled into this new upgrade.
Customization
The new Webmail will let you choose a background, color schemes, and more. Make it bright & bold or as calming as you wish.
Advanced Filtering
There will be an advanced filtering rules included in the upgrade. Have all your mobile receipts sent directly to your “Receipts” folder and any monthly newsletters filed in the “to Read” folder. Create rules to keep your inbox decluttered.
IMAP
If you prefer an email program like Outlook, Apple Mail, or Thunderbird, you’re free to set those up, too. However, we recommend using IMAP instead of POP. Why? Because IMAP keeps your messages safely stored on TrioTel’s servers and synced across all your devices, you’ll always see the same up-to-date inbox no matter where you check your email. And if you stick with Webmail, it already works that way by default.

This is a great time for us to remind our members that we will not send any email asking you to verify your username or password, or to log in using a special link. If you receive an email like this, please delete it and do not follow the instructions. As always, feel free to call our office to confirm that it is a scam.
