2025 Director Vacancies

Elections will take place at the Annual Meeting of the Members on August 5th, 2025, in Salem, SD. If you are interested in being a director candidate for the TrioTel board of directors, contact us for a petition. They will be available on May 1st, 2025.
Directors will be elected for a three year term. Those two districts are:
- One director from District 3 (Spencer)
- One director from District 7 (At-Large)
Board of Director meetings are typically held every other month on the 4th Wednesday of the month. The
meetings normally run from 8:00am-12:00pm with some meetings running longer/shorter. Special
meetings may be called as necessary.
Roles of a Triotel Director:
- Must uphold the Bylaws of the
Cooperative. - Act as trustee for the assets of the
Cooperative. - Formulate, approve, and review
policies to provide guidelines for the
Cooperative. - Asked to attend educational
seminars and represent the
Cooperative at meetings of associated
organizations. - Approve budgets, evaluate
Cooperative operations, and review
financial reports, work plans and
audits. - Must be available to the members in
their representing district and be able
to respond to concerns and questions
that arise.
